January, 2011 - Videotron chooses Noesis Innovation to build and operate its Interactive Webcast solution.Videotron approached Noesis Innovation to build and operate an interactive Webcast player solution to add to its illico Web service.
The player, built using Microsoft's Silverlight technology, allows the viewer to watch live events on the Web and offers an improved interactive experience by providing a set of camera angles to choose from.
Videotron will use the solution to webcast hockey games from "La Série Montréal-Québec" live to illico Web users for free.
Noesis worked closely with Videotron's VOD Operations and Marketing to materialize this new concept. The team was able to deliver and deploy this turnkey solution in only three weeks. Noesis also collaborated with illico Web Operations to secure the access to the Web player which is exclusive to illico users. -
